Specialist - LnS Disputes

Overview

Specialist role responsible for managing end-to-end SCM dispute resolution, from analyzing customer disputes to coordinating internal stakeholders for timely closure.

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end SCM dispute resolution process within defined timelines.
• Analyze customer disputes against allocated targets and determine reason and nature.
• Investigate shipment, transaction, and system history to build case background.
• Decide whether to accept, clarify, or reject disputes using available data and documentation.
• Coordinate with Front Office, FinOps, Procurement, and other stakeholders to resolve disputes.
• Process system amendments and manage cost checks and Purchase Order amendments for accepted cases.
• Perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, document root causes, and close cases with corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and ensure timely resolution.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Experience in Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain Operations, or related field is preferred.
• Customer-focused approach to understand requirements and drive dispute resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate issues and identify root causes.
• Ownership mindset to independently manage issues through closure.
• Working knowledge of SAP and MS Excel.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders.
