Specialist, Product Management

Overview

Develops product strategies and roadmaps to maximize penetration of market segments, manages existing product lines including partner management, and defines business and technical requirements for platforms.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of prioritized product features, ensuring requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and customer outcomes are clearly defined and successfully executed.
• Maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog by balancing customer value, business impact, technical dependencies, platform health, and engineering capacity.
• Lead product participation in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to drive alignment, decision-making, and predictable delivery.
• Partner closely with engineering leaders and development teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements, resolve tradeoffs, and manage delivery risks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive feature validation, user acceptance testing readiness, release planning, and go-live execution to ensure new capabilities meet quality standards and are delivered with minimal operational risk.
• Support product areas.
• Define, monitor, and communicate feature success metrics, adoption trends, and business outcomes, leveraging data-driven insights to inform future roadmap and investment decisions.
• Conduct opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts.
• Provide design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development.
• Define business and technical requirements, and manage the relationships of technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out platforms.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in product management, product development, and project management.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
• Business acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and Mastercard.
• Self motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team.
