Specialist Seller - Connected Maintenance - Public Sector

Overview

Lead complex enterprise sales for Samsara Connected Maintenance across public-sector accounts. The role focuses on strategic deal execution, emerging-product adoption, and partnership with account, product, and go-to-market teams.

What you'll do

• Co-develop an emerging product pipeline with account executives across major public-sector accounts.
• Drive pilot strategy and define early-adoption success metrics.
• Lead executive-level discovery and storytelling for emerging products.
• Develop executive relationships within strategic named accounts.
• Drive Maintenance sales cycles from prospecting and qualification through close.
• Build scalable sales frameworks, assets, and insights.
• Partner with go-to-market and Product teams to shape the roadmap.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of complex, full-cycle enterprise solution sales experience.
• Consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts.
• Experience with $500,000+ ARR transactions.
• Experience working with stakeholders in SLED or government entities.
• Comfort with strategic outbound prospecting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer skills.
• Ability to lead through influence in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Overlay or new product launch experience.
• Experience influencing go-to-market strategy with Product and Marketing.
• Experience partnering strategically with senior account executives.
• Comfort presenting to and influencing C-suite executives.
• Top-achievement awards such as President's Club, Winner's Circle, or Top 10%.

• Full-time annual on-target earnings: $350,000 USD.
