Overview
Specialist Supply Chain Network Optimization supports EMEA countries in designing, evaluating, and optimizing regional distribution networks to improve service, reduce logistics cost, and increase efficiency.
What you'll do
- Analyze distribution networks and replenishment structures to identify bottlenecks.
- Develop and evaluate network simulation scenarios for cost and service alternatives.
- Optimize routing logic, transportation modes, and frequencies.
- Optimize replenishment rules and alignment between planning and logistics requirements.
- Provide tools and templates to support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop alternative flow concepts and contingency plans for risk and resilience.
- Support long-term network strategy and structural flow continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, network optimization, or similar analytical roles.
- Strong expertise in distribution network design, transportation modeling, and supply chain flow optimization.
- Proven scenario modeling and simulation tool experience, including cost-to-serve analysis.
- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel (advanced).
- Solid understanding of transportation strategies, routing optimization, and inventory planning.
- Ability to translate complex data into decision-ready recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics cost drivers, service metrics, and CO2/emissions considerations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across functions and regions (especially EMEA exposure preferred).
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Structured problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail and quality.
