Overview
Provide L1 production and application support for Wealth Management platforms, enterprise data platforms, and critical data pipelines in a financial-services environment.
What you'll do
- Monitor ETL jobs, data pipelines, file transfers, batch processes, and application alerts.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, service requests, and job failures.
- Validate data loads, reconciliations, feeds, downstream impacts, and reporting outputs.
- Manage job scheduling platforms such as Control-M or similar tools.
- Coordinate with business, development, infrastructure, and upstream/downstream teams.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams and track resolution communications.
- Support smoke testing, disaster recovery exercises, automation, audit reporting, and service improvement.
What you'll need
- 1–3 years of proven work experience and/or a college or university degree.
- Advanced SQL, UNIX/Linux, and shell scripting skills.
- Experience supporting ETL, data pipelines, data feeds, and batch processing.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent cloud data services.
- Knowledge of ITSM and production incident management with root-cause analysis.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Availability for on-call, night, weekend, and 24x7 coverage rotations.
Nice to have
- Python experience.
- ITIL certification.
- Cloud certification.
- BCA or B.Sc. in Computer Science.
- Related industry qualification.
