Overview
Senior Associate Software Engineer for hands-on delivery of secure, scalable GenAI solutions in an Applied AI practice, including LLM assistants, agents, Custom GPTs, and RAG applications.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy LLM-powered assistants, agents, and Custom GPTs on approved enterprise platforms.
- Implement prompt/context strategies, structured outputs, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, and tool calling.
- Build scalable RAG pipelines grounded in trusted enterprise data.
- Create integration layers and event-driven workflows using APIs and approved orchestration tools.
- Develop reusable Python services and libraries, and contribute TypeScript/React/Next.js components when needed.
- Implement automated testing, tracing/monitoring, and security safeguards for GenAI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements and participate in agile delivery activities.
What you'll need
- 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in areas including Computer Science or Engineering.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development, application engineering, systems integration, or system design.
- 2+ years building, deploying, or supporting production GenAI applications (assistants/agents/Custom GPTs/RAG or similar).
- Strong hands-on Python proficiency for production applications, APIs, data services, or integration components.
- Hands-on experience with prompt/context design, embeddings/vector search, retrieval pipelines, evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
- Experience designing cloud-native solutions, preferably on AWS (e.g., Bedrock, Lambda, EKS/ECS, API Gateway, IAM).
- Ability to develop modern web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
