Overview
Configure, develop, and maintain SAP ECC, Master Data Governance (MDG), and S/4HANA systems to support business processes and improve data management solutions.
What you'll do
- Configure and maintain SAP ECC modules: MM, SD, PP, LO, HR, FI, and CO.
- Perform SPRO configurations to meet business requirements.
- Develop ABAP code using RICEFW concepts, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Add and map new fields in MDG backend data models, staging tables, structures, and ECC tables.
- Display new fields in the MDG user interface.
- Alter existing change request processes when new fields impact them.
- Configure BRF+ and MDGIMG for change request type, reason, priority, and status.
- Perform OOABAP coding using enhancement concepts and WebDynpro/FPM architecture.
- Handle DRF, consolidation, and mass processing during initial system setup.
- Analyze and adapt custom ABAP code for S/4HANA compatibility.
- Use SAP Readiness Check to identify and remediate custom code issues.
- Integrate S/4HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and other middleware.
- Define project scope, deliverables, and schedules.
- Coordinate implementation with customers, IT, vendors, and consultants.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create capabilities, streamline processes, and improve accuracy for projects and major company initiatives.
- Recommend new or enhanced systems, software, and upgrades.
- Assist in testing software programs to ensure they function as intended.
- Create detailed workflow, system, training, and process documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to other business analysts.
What you'll need
- Extensive experience with SAP ECC, MDG, and S/4HANA.
- Proficiency in ABAP coding and RICEFW concepts.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, UI modelling, and process modelling in MDG.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business problems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP ECC modules: MM, SD, PP, LO, HR, FI, and CO.
- SPRO configurations.
- ABAP coding including Classical, ALV, and Module Pool reports; IDoc, RFC, and WebServices interfaces; BDC, BAPI, and LSMW conversions; Exits, Spot, and BAdi enhancements; Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts; and workflow development and modification.
- MDG technical skills including OOABAP coding, WebDynpro/FPM architecture, and BRF+ and MDGIMG configurations.
- S/4HANA skills including ABAP code, SAP PI/PO and CPI, APIs and Web Services, SAP Fiori, and UI5 development.
- Tools and practices including Agile Project Management, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage projects, define scope and deliverables, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to create detailed workflow, system, training, and process documentation.
- Ability to provide guidance to other business analysts and team members.
Nice to have
- Certification in SAP ECC, MDG, or S/4HANA.
- Experience with BRF+ and MDGIMG configurations.
- Knowledge of WebDynpro/FPM architecture.
- Knowledge of SAP Joule for Developer and SAP Joule for Consultant.
- Advanced degrees.
- SAP ECC or MDG certifications.
