Sr. Engineer

Overview

Sr. Engineer (Design Engineer) supporting planning, design, and development of CAD software applications, design methodologies, and utilities across engineering disciplines.

What you'll do

• Work on new concept design, new inquiries, and customer-requested modifications to existing products (25%).
• Prepare project documentation, design calculations, simulation, and tolerance stack-ups per an APQP project plan (35%).
• Build proto samples per customer requirements and define customer warranty visit/actions (15%).
• Review tools and use mould flow to guide suppliers for tooling, then conduct product trials (10%).
• Support testing and validation at internal or external labs (10%).
• Coordinate with geographically dispersed engineering teams to align subsystem product design, fabrication, and deployment with project requirements (5%).

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in design engineering, CAD development, or engineering software applications.
• Experience defining design specifications, CAD workflows, and supporting engineering utilities or programs.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, materials science, environmental testing, and reliability/failure analysis.
• Ability to evaluate vendor capabilities and specify hardware, materials, or tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills plus design documentation skills.
