Overview

Sr Engineer, Data to design and build scalable data architectures and end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP and Snowflake.

What you'll do

• Implement scalable, reliable data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design data models and warehouse/lake strategies using BigQuery, Snowflake, and GCS.
• Build Snowflake cloud data warehouse solutions and integrate Snowflake into the GCP data ecosystem.
• Develop batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services including BigQuery, WorkFlow, Dataproc, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
• Implement CI/CD for data workflows using Cloud Build and Terraform.
• Design data migration strategies from on-prem/legacy systems to GCP and Snowflake and integrate multiple data sources.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience implementing scalable, reliable data architectures on GCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including advanced SQL, performance and cost tuning, and secure data sharing.
• Very strong experience in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Hands-on expertise building and maintaining end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP services.
• Experience with data validation, monitoring, and quality checks.
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance policy adherence.
