Overview

Sr. Motion Designer for Glance AI, focused on defining and scaling a unified UI motion language across mobile surfaces.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain Glance’s unified motion language, transitions, and physics engines across mobile surfaces.
• Design micro-interactions, tactile feedback loops, and immersive visual narratives.
• Collaborate with UX, Visual Design, Product, and Engineering from ideation so motion is treated as an architectural foundation.
• Create reusable motion principles, interpolation curves, timing guidelines, and scalable asset packages.
• Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes and work with front-end Android engineers to translate motion paths into production code while preserving visual fidelity.
• Mentor junior designers on UI motion principles and how motion supports clarity and brand expression.
• Share studio and motion innovation insights internally to InMobi and externally within the global design community.

What you'll need

• Provide a motion/product portfolio with interactive prototyping and UI animation work embedded in shipped applications.
• Demonstrate structural mastery of easing curves, interpolation, velocity, spatial tracking, and visual storytelling for mobile environments.
• Have high proficiency with After Effects, Figma, Principle, ProtoPie, or similar interactive prototyping tools.
• Be able to precisely communicate motion parameters, frame constraints, and behavior definitions to engineering partners.
