Sr. Service Engineer- Chennai

Overview

Sr. Service Engineer (Onsite) in Chennai, responsible for service activities including breakdown support, installations, preventive maintenance, and warranty/chargeable parts and service transactions.

What you'll do

• Attend breakdown calls in the region.
• Raise requests for parts and close transactions under Warranty, CAMP, or Chargeable.
• Complete on-site installation of equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Promote service contracts & consumables.
• Demonstrate products to customers and impart training to customers.
• Update service reports in Oracle and support parts/equipment lead generation for sales.

What you'll need

• 5-7 years of field service experience.
• Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics.
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment under general direction.
• Ability to prioritize workload, goals, and tasks.
• Ability to multi-task and complete concurrent projects within time frames.
• Familiarity with local language (Tamil and Telugu).
• Decision-making and coordination with other departments to solve technical issues.
