Overview

What you'll do
- Lead architecture and development of large-scale, cross-domain software systems and platform capabilities.
- Design scalable backend APIs, distributed systems, cloud-native services, and high-volume data processing solutions.
- Drive responsible adoption of generative AI, AI-assisted development, agentic systems, and intelligent automation.
- Lead production incident response, root-cause analysis, observability, and reliability improvements.
- Guide security, privacy, compliance, and data-governance practices for payroll and customer information.
- Influence technical strategy, standards, roadmaps, and execution across multiple teams.
- Mentor engineers and lead architecture, design, code, test-plan, and knowledge-sharing reviews.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Deep expertise in Java and/or Python development.
- Experience architecting scalable backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise applications.
- Strong SQL and data-modeling experience.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with Redis and/or Hazelcast and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or OpenTelemetry.
