Sr Technical Consultant - Python, Java Script, L2/L3 Support

Overview

Sr Technical Consultant for L3/L2 application support, focused on debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex enterprise production issues.

What you'll do

• Serve as the L3 technical point for complex application issues, production incidents, escalations, and recurring problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, server-side components, APIs, integrations, databases, and application workflows.
• Perform deep-dive debugging using application logs, database queries, API traces, monitoring tools, and code analysis.
• Identify root causes of incidents and implement or coordinate long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, security, and business teams for end-to-end issue resolution.
• Support releases, hotfixes, patches, configuration changes, and production validation activities.
• Monitor production systems and participate in incident/problem/change management as per ITIL practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in application support, production support, technical support, or software development support.
• Strong L3 application support experience to troubleshoot complex production issues independently.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/React/Angular/Vue/Node.js and/or Java/.NET (listed as options).
• Ability to read, understand, and debug application code.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, integrations, authentication, authorization, and web application architecture.
• Experience with databases and SQL query analysis for troubleshooting and performance problems.

• Location: Bangalore.
• Requires rotational shifts and weekend/public-holiday support for production incidents and planned deployments.
