STA Staff Engineer

Overview

STA Staff Engineer responsible for static timing analysis and physical implementation aspects of ASIC development, including timing convergence and performance, power, and area optimization.

What you'll do

• Perform static timing analysis for ASIC designs.
• Develop constraints and support physical implementation.
• Fix critical timing bottleneck paths.
• Prepare complex engineering change orders for timing convergence across multiple corners.
• Optimize designs for power, performance, and area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups on product execution.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in static timing analysis, constraints, and physical implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PT, Tempus, GENUS, Innovus, or ICC tools.
• Expertise in Perl and TCL.
• Strong fundamentals in ASIC design and implementation.
• Experience with timing convergence across a large set of corners.

Nice to have

• Experience with deep submicron process technology nodes.
• Knowledge of high-performance and low-power implementation methods.
