Staff Engineer - Pre/Post Si validation

Overview

Staff Engineer for pre- and post-silicon validation within Qualcomm's ASIC Engineering group, defining, designing, verifying, validating and documenting IP (block/SoC) development for high performance, low power products.

What you'll do

• Define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement and document IP (block/SoC) development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience, OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience, OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming.
• Embedded systems and RTOS knowledge.
• SoC architecture understanding.
• Device driver development and integration.
• Validation and test automation methodologies.
• Debug tools such as T32/Lauterbach.
• Build systems, scripts, and automation.
• Knowledge of ARM, DDR, PMIC, Clock, NoC, PCIe, USB, UFS, or related subsystems.
