Staff Business Systems Analyst

Overview

Staff Business Systems Analyst at Opengov, responsible for the architecture, integration design, and long-term technical direction of HR technology systems managing employee data across the employee lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end architecture for the HR technology ecosystem spanning Workday modules and surrounding HR applications.
• Design target-state architecture and multi-year technical roadmaps for a growing global workforce.
• Define and govern integration architecture and HR data flows across systems.
• Own the HR data model and ensure integrity, lineage, and consistency across integrated systems.
• Act as design authority for Workday integrations and downstream data platform feeds.
• Provide dotted-line technical leadership and mentor HR application administrators.
• Build and deliver the most complex or high-risk integrations, configurations, and reports.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of progressive HR technology/HRIS functional and technical experience, including significant architecture/principal/senior IC capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Workday (preferred) across the full module stack and advanced configuration.
• Strong Workday integration expertise (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, web services/APIs) and enterprise integration architecture experience.
• Expertise in HR data modeling and data governance, including how HRIS data flows to data-warehouse/BI (e.g., Snowflake).
• Willingness and ability to do hands-on technical delivery (configuration, integration development, reporting) in addition to architecture.
• Ability to mentor administrators and lead dotted-line technical mentorship without formal reporting authority.
