Staff Data Scientist

Overview

Staff Data Scientist to develop and deploy intelligent healthcare AI solutions using NLP, ML, and Generative AI, with hands-on software engineering for production-ready applications.

What you'll do

• Develop, train, and optimize NLP/ML models for clinical document understanding and related text tasks.
• Build scalable data pipelines for acquisition, annotation, training, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Design and implement production-ready AI services, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into healthcare products.
• Deploy and monitor AI models using MLOps for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare quality, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need

• Master's degree plus 5+ years, or PhD plus 2+ years in relevant fields.
• Strong experience in NLP, Machine Learning, LLMs, RAG, information extraction, NER, and text analytics.
• Hands-on Python experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow and Hugging Face.
• Experience with NLTK/spaCy and modern AI frameworks.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure/GCP, plus MLOps practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in Healthcare AI, Clinical NLP, or Medical Imaging.
• Experience supporting product releases in regulated environments.
• Technical leadership experience mentoring engineers and data scientists.
