Overview

Staff SSD Validation Engineer defining and driving validation strategies for Micron NAND-based SSD systems and solutions.

What you'll do

• Define validation strategies, test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for SSD firmware.
• Develop automated test solutions for functional, system, performance, reliability, interoperability, and customer qualification domains.
• Lead validation efforts across development, qualification, customer enablement, and sustaining activities.
• Partner with hyperscale and datacenter customers to improve product quality and qualification cycle times.
• Drive issue identification, debug, root cause analysis, and closure with firmware, hardware, systems, and product engineering teams.
• Analyze validation results, identify quality risks, and recommend actions to stakeholders and leadership.

What you'll need

• 6-12 years of experience in Embedded Firmware, Storage Systems, or SSD Validation Engineering.
• 4+ years of SSD Firmware Validation experience (highly preferred).
• Deep knowledge of NVMe and PCIe technologies and SSD architecture.
• Experience debugging NVMe/SAS protocol issues using protocol analyzers such as LeCroy and JDSU.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and development of test automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux and Windows debugging experience.
