Staff Engineer

Overview

Staff Engineer responsible for delivering high-quality features within core Platform/Masters Data Management (MDM) platform areas of ownership.

What you'll do

• Work with PMs to build a product roadmap with clear goals and KPIs.
• Design and develop features while providing thought and execution leadership.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Doc teams for high-quality delivery.
• Present designs for new initiatives in a global architects forum.
• Lead engineering excellence by raising code coverage, guidelines, and review processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
• Shape architecture with architects and ensure testing, deployment, and documentation.

What you'll need

• Engineering degree in the computer science field.
• Solid computer science foundation in algorithms, data structures, software design, and large distributed systems.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing products for enterprise customers.
• 4+ years experience building large-scale distributed data systems in Java and cloud technologies.
• Proven track record delivering functionalities from conception to delivery with customer/partner engagement.
• Experience leading projects with a crew of engineers and providing technical mentorship.
• Hands-on experience building services on AWS, Azure, or GCP and managed cloud databases.
