Staff Engineer Photolithography

Overview

Photolithography Engineer responsible for addressing critical lithography scribe challenges for memory devices, supporting the photolithography team and defining technical project work for overlay and scribe performance.

What you'll do

• Tackle modeling needs to support optical simulation related to scribe mark.
• Provide mark design recommendations and identify root causes for complex problems.
• Support overlay improvement by working with vendor applications teams.
• Define and lead projects to address photolithography performance gaps across memory and storage nodes.
• Understand overlay technology challenges and establish project plans for N, N+1, and N+2 nodes.
• Summarize plans, experimental progress, and conclusions via written reports.
• Provide technical advice to senior management on overlay scribe issues.

What you'll need

• Strong understanding of photolithography.
• Understanding of optics.
• Understanding of the principles of photolithography and optical metrology.
• Understanding of how lens aberrations, scanner chuck differences, and process variations affect overlay.
• Understanding of alignment and overlay marks.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
• Ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for work tasks.
