Overview
Lead the enterprise Identity and Access Management organisation, with accountability for its people, operating model, performance, risk, cost, and sustained outcomes. The role oversees secure identity services across workforce, application, machine, privileged, and partner identities.
What you'll do
- Set the IAM team’s mission, operating model, objectives, measures, and outcomes.
- Lead workforce strategy, organisational design, capacity planning, recruitment, retention, and development.
- Oversee identity lifecycle execution, access governance, service operation, controls, audit evidence, and service continuity.
- Manage incidents, service risks, control failures, audit findings, and remediation commitments.
- Lead budgets, resource allocation, sourcing decisions, vendors, and third-party performance.
- Drive automation, self-service, standardisation, knowledge management, and continual improvement.
- Represent IAM in senior governance, investment, risk, assurance, audit, operational, and workforce forums.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, cyber security, or a related discipline.
- Significant professional experience in IAM, cyber security, enterprise technology, platform services, or a related field.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technology teams in a large, sophisticated, or regulated enterprise.
- Experience managing workforce capacity, organisational capability, performance, budgets, vendors, third-party resources, and operational risk.
- Broad understanding of identity governance, authentication, federation, directory services, privileged access, PKI, digital trust, and identity infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of operational integrity, service management, controls, audit evidence, risk management, and continual improvement.
- Ability to communicate complex technology, risk, control, and investment matters to senior technical and nontechnical audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience leading global IAM teams in regulated or compliance-intensive organisations.
- Experience transforming identity services, operating models, workforce structures, sourcing arrangements, or service performance.
- Professional certifications in identity, cyber security, auditing, risk, service management, or leadership.
