Overview

Staff / Principal Engineer for Micron’s Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) System Integration (Solution) Product Engineering team in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Conduct system triage using failure analysis at the NAND component and system level to identify failure sources.
• Drive issue-based taskforces to establish solutions and unblock critical system development.
• Improve NAND-system triage methods and apply NAND features in systems to support validation and development cycle time.
• Perform NAND vs. system performance sensitivity evaluations for early issue detection and validation countermeasures.
• Carry out bench testing at system, NAND package, and sometimes NAND wafer level for issue debug.
• Provide leadership in problem analysis and resolution at the network level.
• Collaborate with cross-department groups to identify and close technical gaps for new product integration.

What you'll need

• 2–8 years of experience (from the education line).
• Strong foundation in mixed-signal VLSI including analog circuits/systems and digital logic/RTL design.
• Knowledge of Flash memory architecture and operation is required.
• Ability to work with multi-functional teams and different cultures.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Bench testing equipment knowledge (o-scope, logic analyzer, Nextest Magnum, etc.) is a plus.
