Staff Product Analyst, Consumer

Overview

Staff Product Analyst for Ethos Life’s direct-to-consumer business, working with PMs and data teams to generate product insights and drive experimentation.

What you'll do

• Define feature goals with PMs and lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives.
• Design tests, track events/properties, and analyze results for attribution, causation, and incremental lift.
• Conduct exploratory analyses and in-depth research on large data sets to find high-impact opportunities.
• Use data querying and visualization to produce actionable insights.
• Create dashboards and frameworks to monitor and visualize KPIs.
• Present insights and recommendations to executives and other organizational levels.
• Partner with data engineers to maintain consistent business logic and support a data-driven test-and-learn culture.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, and/or data-driven product management.
• Expert knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools to communicate actionable insights.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation best practices.
• Knowledge of basic statistical techniques, including linear/logistic regression and confidence intervals.
• Familiarity with a scripting language such as Python or R.
• Proven ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
