Staff Product Designer, Consumer

Overview

Staff Product Designer on the Homh consumer home services booking platform team, designing the first experience homeowners have with the ServiceTitan ecosystem, with a focus on AI-driven and agentic consumer experiences.

What you'll do

• Run discovery research with homeowners, including user interviews, journey maps and task flows.
• Whiteboard task flows, mock up interface screens and prototype solutions for testing, including with AI-assisted prototyping tools.
• Develop deep expertise across the consumer booking funnel, focusing on where Titan Intelligence and AI capabilities can improve trust and conversion.
• Design human-AI interaction patterns for consumers, including confidence and trust cues on price estimates, human-in-the-loop review steps, and handling of AI uncertainty or error.
• Validate product ideas through experimental design and research, including testing AI feature outputs for usefulness and trust.
• Ship valuable, high-quality work without sacrificing speed, iterating toward a shippable solution in Figma.
• Build collaborative relationships across product, engineering, marketplace operations and research.
• Represent user needs in product strategy and roadmap discussions.
• Review product design work, give constructive feedback and mentor junior designers in context, decision-making and user empathy.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience designing consumer (B2C) products, particularly marketplace, booking or on-demand services apps.
• Strong UX reasoning with a proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous product problems through simple design solutions.
• Direct experience designing AI-powered or AI-assisted product features, such as generative AI, recommendation systems, copilots or agentic workflows, with a clear point of view on making AI experiences trustworthy and useful to non-technical consumers.
• An outstanding portfolio showing a range of UX, interaction and visual design work, plus idea generation or prototyping.
• Deep experience with UX research and end-to-end ownership, taking a problem from discovery through shipped solution.
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience with a self-starter mindset.
• High attention to detail in visual design and copy for a trust-sensitive, first-time-user audience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, explaining the rationale behind design decisions to team and stakeholders.
