Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer responsible for architecting, building, and leading AI-powered full-stack features for a commercial real estate product.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy end-to-end GenAI solutions using LLMs and RAG pipelines.
• Build backend systems that translate natural language into actionable queries.
• Develop web applications and APIs with React, Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Lead architectural decisions, technical standards, refactoring, and complex troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Design cloud infrastructure with Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop testing strategies, deployment procedures, and release runbooks.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience as a full-stack developer, AI engineer, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, React or NextJS, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Experience developing GenAI solutions using LLMs and NLP techniques.
• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Experience with Terraform, cloud platforms, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience developing agentic AI systems and implementing Model Context Protocols.
• Familiarity with vector databases and semantic indexing technologies.
• Experience with API gateways, microservices, security, monitoring, or DataDog.
