Staff Software Engineer- Fullstack – Node & Typescript (GLP Team), Bangalore

Overview

Staff Software Engineer (Fullstack) for the Global Localization Platform team in Bangalore, working on a localization string management platform and related tooling.

What you'll do

• Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of localization platform services.
• Design and build backend and frontend systems for global localization and translation workflows.
• Provide technical leadership for microservices, API design, eventing, and deployment strategies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows for reliable delivery.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using tools like Prometheus and CloudWatch.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause investigations.
• Lead modernization efforts including modularization and decoupling legacy systems.

What you'll need

• 9–13 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Deep proficiency in Node.js, Python, and Java (backend) and React with TypeScript (frontend).
• Experience with AWS services including Serverless, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and EventBridge.
• Experience building/deploying microservices with Docker and Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with datastores such as RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and full-text search vectorization.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka/MKS) plus low-latency protocols (gRPC).
