Staff+ Software Engineer, Enterprise Knowledge Work

Overview

Staff+ Software Engineer for Anthropic’s Enterprise Knowledge Work team, building enterprise products that help teams collaborate with Claude across core work objectives.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end technical design and delivery for enterprise-facing core products.
• Partner with product, design, and go-to-market to turn enterprise workflows into shipped product.
• Set team technical direction and standards, including architecture and code quality.
• Work with enterprise customers and sales to translate learnings into engineering priorities.
• Collaborate with research to improve domain-specific model performance via evals and failure-mode analysis.
• Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
• Build core primitives that enable knowledge workers to leverage Claude.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ideally 2+ years at Staff or equivalent technical leadership level.
• Experience leading full-stack design and delivery of complex customer-facing products.
• Built AI products and understands turning model capabilities into usable applications.
• Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and translating learnings into technical decisions.
• Experience building 0-to-1 products in fast-moving environments.
• Ability to drive cross-team alignment to ship impactful work with influence.

Details

• Annual compensation range: $405,000–$485,000 USD.
• Hybrid policy: staff expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is supported for some roles and candidates.
