Staff Software Engineer (Gen AI) in Business Banking Technology, working on software solutions and AI-enabled capabilities.

What you'll do

• Collaborate on complex technical problems from design through implementation to achieve quality outcomes.
• Translate requirements into engineering solutions and break down work for team clarity.
• Experiment with AI-assisted engineering tools and cloud services and share feedback from testing.
• Deliver robust, reusable solutions that integrate with other teams’ workflows and products.
• Participate in architecture discussions and propose improvements, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews, maintain high-quality codebases, and assist with documentation.
• Work on cross-functional projects and coach/mentor junior team members.

What you'll need

• Minimum 11+ years experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, reliable software solutions.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML and Gen AI applications for improving software engineering processes.
• Experience building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
• Daily user of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub Copilot, Aider, Cline, etc.
