Strategic Commodity Manager, Program Lead

Overview

Strategic Commodity Manager and Program Lead responsible for driving the commodity strategy for Weldment, including supplier strategy, contract management, negotiations, and performance/risk management.

What you'll do

• Drive the commodity strategy for assigned commodity (Weldment).
• Plan, organize, and control contracts and negotiations for technical or contractual material/services acquisition.
• Develop and execute supplier management strategies using semiconductor technology landscapes and global business environments.
• Establish strategic commodity vision, evaluate/source suppliers, and manage supplier relationships.
• Continuously scan markets and global landscape to explore and evaluate strategic suppliers.
• Coordinate with finance/accounting for inventory, cost savings, and cash flow management.
• Manage supplier performance via scorecards and define/monitor metrics aligned with AOP objectives.

What you'll need

• Min 10–12 years of experience in commodity management in engineering/manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial engineering or any other stream.
• Experience in commodity management and familiarity with semiconductor/electrical equipment manufacturing or high-technology supply management practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with history of successful resolution.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functionally in new product introduction, manufacturing, quality/reliability, and procurement/finance/product support.
