Subsea Controls Engineer

Overview

Subsea Controls Engineer role in Chevron ENGINE (Bengaluru) supporting subsea production systems’ long-term management of subsea controls equipment. Focus areas include electro/hydraulic controls, instrumentation, automation, reliability assessment, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Provide engineering support for subsea controls systems equipment used in subsea production systems.
• Monitor subsea control systems and troubleshoot errors or failures.
• Assess instrument data related to subsea equipment health.
• Coordinate and manage subsea vendor scopes for maintenance, repair, and refurbishment.
• Interface with offshore operations staff to support operation, inspection, and maintenance activities.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and ensure as-built documentation is obtained.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in subsea operations.
• Demonstrated experience in subsea controls including field execution support.
• Exposure to installation, system performance, subsea production systems, and asset integrity.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, either 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
