Supervisor 1, Private Client Service

Overview

Supervisor role supporting private client service delivery through overseeing work quality, timelines, budgets, and client engagement execution.

What you'll do

• Execute core functions of the Supervisor role and contribute to team objectives.
• Maintain quality standards and support client service delivery.
• Prepare bookkeeping records and financial statements for compilation and review engagements.
• Perform financial analysis (variance, ratio, YoY) and prepare cash flow statements for review engagements.
• Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns (T2) and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Supervise, coach, and review Senior Associates and Associates across Canadian R&C engagements.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• CA Qualified with 4 years relevant experience OR ACCA/CPA qualified with 5 years relevant experience.
• Technical knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and GAAP for compliant financial reporting.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ability to perform first-level technical reviews (compilation) and in-charge reviews (review engagements).
