Supplier Quality Engineer / Materials Engineer

Overview

Supplier Quality Engineer / Materials Engineer for semiconductor manufacturing, focusing on supplier-related quality issues for incoming chemicals, gases, wafers, slurries, and tooling.

What you'll do

• Drive supplier discussions and improvements to resolve issues/incidents quickly.
• Lead structured problem solving (8D analysis) for incidents and excursions.
• Perform external audits in a lead or support role.
• Interface and communicate with stakeholders from technicians through upper management.
• Work with internal engineering groups to diagnose supplier-induced issues and drive toward zero excursion/zero defects.
• Rate supplier performance annually.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3–10 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role.
• Education in engineering/science/technical area, including materials science/chemistry/electrical engineering.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and react to shifting priorities.
• Mostly office environment work in front of a computer for long periods.
