Synthesis Engineer, Sr Lead

Overview

Lead synthesis engineering for hardware designs, covering synthesis flows, low-power implementation, formal verification, and timing constraints.

What you'll do

• Perform synthesis using Synopsys Design Compiler, DCG, DC_NXT, Fusion Compiler, or Cadence RC/Genus.
• Implement multi-voltage and power-aware synthesis flows.
• Apply UPF flows and low-power design techniques.
• Conduct formal verification using Cadence LEC or Synopsys Formality.
• Write and debug timing constraints.
• Develop scripting and makefile flows using Perl or TCL.
• Drive ideas from design through commercialization.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of industry experience in the listed synthesis areas.
• Expertise in synthesis tools and flows.
• Expertise in formal verification.
• Expertise in writing and debugging timing constraints.
• Perl or TCL scripting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with integration or RTL design.
