Overview
Qualcomm is seeking a Synthesis Engineer to plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic hardware systems and bring-up products.
What you'll do
- Plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems across digital/analog/RF/optical areas.
- Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs based on proposals or roadmaps.
- Run complex simulations and analyses, and implement designs optimizing power, performance, and area.
- Collaborate with design, verification, validation, software, and systems teams to incorporate new requirements and test solutions.
- Evaluate, characterize, and develop manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products and bring-up.
- Evaluate reliability of materials and techniques and apply innovation, automation, and optimization to maximize productivity.
- Assess complex design features for flaws, compatibility, and compliance issues, and write technical documentation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ or 2+ years experience related to writing detailed technical documentation for hardware projects.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
- Uses verbal and written communication to convey information.
- Performs multi-step tasks with planning, problem-solving, and prioritization.
