System Engineer

Overview

Support the sales process and customers technically for robotic welding systems, covering configuration, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of welding equipment.

What you'll do

• Support the sales process with configurations for robotic systems, providing technical knowledge to customers and the sales team.
• Evaluate customer needs and support them technically by making proposals.
• Work as a team with internal and external customers and prospects, carrying out installations and implementations to meet customer needs in a timely fashion.
• Gather customer feedback and suggest new products or services or recommend improvements.
• Provide application advice for Fronius team members and customers on welding and technical software, commissioning and system integration.
• Undertake maintenance, breakdown and repair of welding equipment and peripherals, including operating and programming.
• Provide direct, email and telephonic support at regional and national levels to internal and external customers.

What you'll need

• Diploma or graduate with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in installation and repair of welding equipment.
• Basic PLC knowledge.
• Robotic programming and integration knowledge.
• Experience in electronics and interfaces, and software installation and repair.
• Expertise in computer skills and fluent English speaking.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to work with a team and alone as needed.
