System Technologist

Overview

Provide technical customer support for public safety software deployments, including server upgrades, database migrations, troubleshooting, and service-level delivery.

What you'll do

• Upgrade customer servers with the latest software releases.
• Migrate legacy databases into new database structures.
• Support customers and deliver against contracted service-level agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, hardware, networking, and third-party component issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of technical customer support or technical business analysis experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience with SQL and object-relational database structures.
• Experience with nginx and Tomcat web services.
• Basic networking and infrastructure knowledge.
• Ability to execute Bash scripts and Windows scripting or executables.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of the Motorola Flex software suite.

Details

• Remote work in Utah.
• No travel or relocation is provided.
• Target base salary: $60,000–$65,000 yearly.
• U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is unavailable.
• Successful completion of a stringent fingerprint background check is required.
