Talent Acquisition Specialist (Campus Hiring) role in Caterpillar’s Recruiting Excellence team, focused on campus and early talent hiring.
What you'll do
- Ensure hiring and onboarding responsibilities are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with country-specific regulations and standards.
- Support Students & Graduates programs, internships, campus recruitment, and early talent initiatives.
- Place advertisements and attend job fairs, campus recruitment events, and university engagement activities.
- Conduct candidate pre-screens, provide candidate recommendations, and extend offers to interns, graduates, and early talent candidates.
- Source candidates and evaluate resumes using internal/external tools and campus hiring channels, including university partnerships.
- Build and monitor talent pipelines and manage reports to measure recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
What you'll need
- Working knowledge of business process improvement best practices and methods to identify and implement more efficient approaches.
- Working knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques to meet/ exceed customer needs and expectations.
- Working knowledge of relationship management techniques for working with clients, vendors, peers, universities, and campus stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of candidate screening techniques and processes, including following HR policies and maintaining records.
- Basic understanding of candidate sourcing techniques and channels, including campus hiring and university partnerships.
- Working knowledge of staffing and recruiting standards and processes for recruiting and applicant tracking.
