Overview
The Internal Recruiter delivers end-to-end internally posted recruitment activity for assigned functions, geographies, or talent segments. The role partners with hiring managers and HR to attract, assess, and hire diverse, high-quality talent while delivering a consistent candidate experience.
What you'll do
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for internally posted requisitions, from intake and assessment through offer acceptance and onboarding handover.
- Conduct intake discussions to clarify role requirements, success profiles, timelines, and diversity goals.
- Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates using consistent and objective assessment methods.
- Manage offer processes in line with Diageo policy, ensuring competitive and equitable outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, set clear expectations, and provide progress updates.
- Deliver a positive, engaging, and inclusive candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment journey.
- Represent Diageo’s purpose, values, and culture consistently to internal talent.
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and ensure diverse candidate slates.
- Ensure recruitment activity complies with local employment legislation, data privacy, and ethical hiring standards.
- Operate with discretion and confidentiality in all hiring matters.
- Manage recruitment activity in line with agreed service levels, hiring plans, and performance targets.
- Use recruiting data and insights to track outcomes, identify risks, and inform corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, share best practice, and support new ways of working and technology adoption.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers, business leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Engagement managers and leaders, and Talent Engagement Operations teams.
- Operate confidently in ambiguity and prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Act collaboratively, proactively, and as a solutions-oriented brand ambassador for Diageo.
What you'll need
- Demonstrated experience in internal recruitment delivery.
- Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions across different role types or functions.
- Comfort working with an advanced Recruiting technology stack.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting regional or global hiring portfolios.
- Experience working in a shared services or hub-based recruitment model.
