Tax Senior Analyst, Foreign Compliance and Reporting

Overview

Senior Analyst focused on foreign tax compliance and reporting for Okta’s Global Tax Compliance and Reporting Team.

What you'll do

• Ensure timely and accurate APAC, EMEA, and LATAM income tax compliance and reporting filings.
• Review income tax returns and statutory provisions from service providers and prepare workpapers.
• Prepare/review tax payment calculations and facilitate tax payments.
• Analyze impacts of foreign income tax laws and support new tax regimes and new jurisdictions.
• Automate and streamline tax reporting and compliance using AI.
• Support quarterly/annual US GAAP income tax provision calculations and cash tax forecasts.
• Respond to tax authority correspondence and help with withholding payments and form filings.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, law, or related field.
• 4+ years combined public accounting and/or industry experience specializing in corporate income tax.
• 1 year of foreign income tax compliance and reporting experience at a publicly traded multinational corporation.
• 1 year of experience working with service providers.
• Understanding of income tax compliance and statutory reporting concepts and cycles.
• Proficiency with OneSource Tax Provision, NetSuite, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

Details

• Role based in Bengaluru, India; expected to be within commuting distance and work in the office at least 2 days per week.
• Work timings stated as 2pm IST to 11pm IST.
