Team Lead - Indirect Procurement

Overview

You will lead the newly established Indirect Procurement GSC team in India, building and managing shared services for SAP Ariba contract/catalogue creation and supplier enablement across METRO countries.

What you'll do

• Build the GSC India Indirect Procurement team from scratch, including recruitment, onboarding, and team structure.
• Serve as the primary interface between GSC India and global Indirect Procurement stakeholders.
• Own and enforce SLAs for contract/catalogue creation and supplier enablement services.
• Oversee end-to-end contract and catalogue creation in SAP Ariba for accuracy and compliance.
• Run supplier enablement activities, including supplier onboarding, portal management, and query resolution.
• Manage the contract and catalogue request tracker with daily updates for transparency.
• Report monthly on KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives for processes and electronic transactions.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or shared services operations.
• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Proven SAP Ariba experience including contract management, catalogue configuration, and Ariba Network (AN).
• Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple countries and time zones.
• Structured, process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in procurement operations, indirect procurement, or supply chain in an international environment.
