Tech Lead Software Engineer Global

Overview

Lead a software engineering team building and operating reliable, cloud-native platforms and distributed systems. Own technical direction across platform architecture, observability, telemetry, evaluations, and Agentic AI recommendations.

What you'll do

• Lead and motivate developers across planning, delivery, and software operations.
• Own end-to-end platform architecture, scalability, security, reliability, and evolution.
• Create, review, and approve application designs with architects and shared services teams.
• Develop and review maintainable software, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Plan and oversee automated testing and application deployments.
• Mentor engineers and drive modern cloud, AI, observability, and development practices.
• Investigate technologies and address technical debt based on development effort and value.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal training.
• Expert Python and backend engineering experience.
• Strong AWS expertise across Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with observability, telemetry, logging, tracing, OpenTelemetry, monitoring, and Site Reliability Engineering.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, architecture governance, performance optimization, and mentoring.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Agentic AI and LLM application architecture experience.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, Kafka, Kinesis, or streaming architectures.
• Experience with Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, or PagerDuty.

• Location: India.
• Work onsite approximately three days per week and as required by the business.
