Technical Database Architect -Vice President

Overview

Lead technical database architecture and data-driven solutions for regulatory reporting, liquidity risk, reporting, analytics, and related financial functions. Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to define requirements, improve data quality, and deliver complex data solutions.

What you'll do

• Define and validate data requirements, flows, and lineage.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Provide technical input for complex, high-impact data projects.
• Prepare data and collaborate on AI/ML model development and validation.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using advanced SQL.
• Develop dashboards and reports using data visualization tools.
• Lead analysis of data trends, patterns, anomalies, risks, and mitigation options.

What you'll need

• 11+ years of experience as a Technical Database Analyst or in a similar role.
• Financial Services experience, preferably in regulatory reporting and liquidity risk.
• Advanced SQL and experience with relational databases and data warehousing.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud data platforms.
• Expertise in data modeling tools and techniques.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience preparing data for AI/ML models.
• Understanding of core AI/ML concepts and workflows.
• Master's degree.
