Technical Product Owner -NW

Overview

Develop backend technical solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices and related technologies. The role involves analyzing requirements, designing and developing solutions, and supporting API frameworks and production incidents.

What you'll do

• Analyze business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and obtain broader buy-in across global stakeholders.
• Proactively share and report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and forthcoming tasks with stakeholders and the team.
• Lead and manage technical aspects of API framework design and development.
• Understand overall production incidents and root-cause analysis for delivered features.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
• Experience as a Java microservices backend developer.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, web services, SOAP, and REST.
• Expected knowledge of Kafka.
• Basic knowledge of databases.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
• Experience with one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
• Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS design, Kafka, Kubernetes ECS3, and workflows such as Camunda BPM.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Kafka.
