Software Engineer III, ITC

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role building and operating scalable, cloud-native backend microservices and a high-throughput Order Management platform. The role includes end-to-end project ownership, GenAI-enabled development, mentoring, and production support.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver backend cloud-native microservices.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable digital asset management services.
• Write clean, tested, and documented code and conduct peer reviews.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and operate services at scale in a full DevOps model.
• Use GenAI capabilities including RAG, prompt-driven workflows, MCP, and spec-driven architectures.
• Own build, test, release, and production support for team capabilities.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness using Splunk and SignalFx.

What you'll need

• At least 7 years of software development experience.
• Java and Spring Boot experience with microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful services.
• Experience in distributed or cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCE, or Azure.
• Experience with test-driven development and tools including JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, or Playwright.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational data stores, including DynamoDB, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub workflows, code quality, and release readiness.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a relevant subject, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering Generative AI-based solutions or projects.
• Experience designing highly scalable web applications.
• Exposure to eCommerce or supply chain domains.
• Full-stack development experience across backend services and frontend web applications.
• Continuous delivery experience.
