Overview

Vice President Java Software Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, distributed Java applications for post-trade asset servicing operations.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end delivery from analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design and develop scalable solutions for post-trade asset servicing (corporate actions, income processing, tax services, custody support, regulatory reporting).
• Provide hands-on technical leadership using object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Partner with business users and technologists to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive cloud-migration initiatives and improve resilience, performance, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Lead delivery in a global Agile team, mentor engineers, and communicate decisions for quality and outcomes.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java application development and ownership of large-scale distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of Java, Spring, Angular, relational databases, messaging technologies, and RESTful services.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming with experience applying design patterns.
• Experience across the full software-development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience with iterative and Agile development in a global delivery environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with business and technologist partners.
• Experience contributing to or leading cloud-migration initiatives.
