Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure

Overview

Technical Program Manager for Anthropic’s Infrastructure organization, coordinating complex programs across infrastructure domains to improve developer productivity, reliability, and cross-team alignment.

What you’ll do

• Drive cross-functional programs to improve developer environments, CI/CD infrastructure, and release processes.
• Coordinate large-scale migrations and platform modernization efforts across engineering teams.
• Measure and improve developer productivity metrics by identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements.
• Lead initiatives to integrate AI tools into development workflows.
• Drive reliability programs across training infrastructure and production services.
• Improve incident response, post-mortem processes, and on-call rotations.
• Serve as a bridge between infrastructure, research, and product teams by translating technical updates.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of technical program management experience delivering complex infrastructure programs in ML/AI systems or large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep technical understanding of infrastructure systems to engage with engineers and identify technical risks.
• Ability to create structure and processes in ambiguous environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with technical and non-technical partners.
• Comfort navigating competing priorities and using data to drive technical decisions.
• Experience with developer productivity initiatives, CI/CD systems, or infrastructure scaling.

Details

• Annual compensation range: $290,000–$365,000 USD.
• Hybrid policy: expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is available for some roles/candidates.
