Technical Sales Engineer Automotive & Transportation (m/w/d)

Overview

Technical Sales Engineer for Automotive & Transportation, focused on creating demand and managing relationships between customers, suppliers, and Arrow stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain customer, supplier, and partner relationships to create demand for components and solutions.
• Identify technical needs of complex accounts and match Arrow solutions to customer business needs.
• Drive business development by creating new opportunities and expanding the Automotive & Transportation customer base.
• Initiate and schedule regular customer facility visits to understand requirements and translate them into opportunities.
• Execute solution selling using knowledge of Arrow supply chain solutions and design processes, emphasizing demand creation and engineering.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, attend supplier training events, and maintain supplier databases and design registration information.

What you'll need

• Higher degree, ideally in Engineering.
• ~5 years of experience in the electronics industry (preferred).
• Business-fluent German and English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, diplomacy, and influencing skills.
• Professional, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset.
