Technical Writer – AI Security Platform

Overview

Technical Writer for an AI security platform, responsible for building and maintaining developer/administrator and API documentation as the product progresses toward general availability.

What you'll do

• Own end-user, administrator, and API documentation across the documentation lifecycle.
• Create deployment and integration guides for platform components, including code samples and configuration references.
• Write release notes and in-product help while maintaining documentation standards and style guidelines.
• Generate and maintain API documentation aligned with product releases using OpenAPI and protobuf sources.
• Review technical examples and documentation for accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Collect feedback from customers and Support to identify documentation gaps and improve clarity.
• Draft, review, update, and maintain documentation using AI tools with proper technical validation.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of technical writing experience for developer- or administrator-facing B2B software.
• Ability to read Go, Python, OpenAPI, and protobuf to document APIs, configurations, and code examples.
• Experience with docs-as-code workflows using Markdown, Git, static site generators, and CI-based publishing.
• Strong cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure knowledge (or ability to learn complex technical domains quickly).
• Fluent written English to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical experience using AI writing/coding assistants with a review and validation process.
• Comfort collaborating with distributed engineering and product teams across time zones.
