Staff Technical Writer

Overview

Staff Technical Writer to lead documentation for major product launches across developer and admin/product documentation.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Support, and Information Development to deliver docs.
• Prioritize documentation across concurrent initiatives to meet release dates.
• Create end-to-end feature documentation for multiple engineering teams.
• Develop product expertise via hands-on engagement to ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with workflows.
• Become expert in the team’s guidelines, processes, and tools.
• Suggest improvements, including using Generative AI tools to increase documentation productivity.
• Analyze customer feedback before and after releases to improve content depth, quality, and relevance.

What you'll need

• 7+ years writing documentation for Cloud or Enterprise products.
• Experience using Oxygen XML Author and VS Code.
• Experience with Acrolinx, Git/GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with DITA, Markdown, OpenAPI, and API publishing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools for documentation.
• Security/IAM domain knowledge (Okta or similar IDaaS).
• Technical fluency to read code and API specs to validate content.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Work mode: Hybrid (minimum of 2 days onsite/week).
• Requires in-person meeting with the Hiring Manager in Bengaluru after final rounds.
• Onboarding requires in-person travel to the Bengaluru office.
