Overview
Test Engineer role focused on planning, designing, and executing functional and non-functional testing, including automation, to validate software quality and reliability.
What you'll do
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and testing strategies to validate functionality and compliance.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and support defect resolution with developers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Plan, execute, and improve regression, SIT, and UAT testing activities.
What you'll need
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance, test automation, or related delivery roles.
- In-depth understanding of software testing lifecycle, SDLC, and core testing processes.
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, integration, API, and automation testing.
- Knowledge of test design techniques, test estimation, and test execution/defect reporting.
- Hands-on automation tool/framework experience including at least one of Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, REST Assured, Karate, or AutomatePro.
- Programming/scripting knowledge such as Java or Python.
